Whether you want to sing in a band, a Broadway show, an opera, the shower or all of the above, taking voice lessons is a great way to build a beautiful voice, perfect the art of

performance and gain confidence.

Mr. da Roza studied voice at the San Francisco Academy for the Performing Arts with Richard Nickol for 7 years and

is continuing his studies. Other teachers include James Heiner

for voice and acting with Joshua Finkel, Bobbie Weinapple

and Leslie Martinson. He has been teaching in Livermore,

Dublin, Pleasanton and San Ramon for 5 years. He has

performed leads in and been the musical/vocal

director for numerous musicals. He is the male vocalist on

a CD of original songs and is a regular performer and

host at the Octavia Lounge in San Francisco.

He specializes in advanced breathing techniques; creating an

open, healthy belt; finding the mix of head and chest voices;

enriching the head voice; expanding vocal and expressive range; and infusing the individual's passion into his or her voice. These techniques are appropriate for all styles of singing, including jazz, R&B, opera, classical, Broadway, rock and pop. Each lesson is tailored to fit the needs of the individual student.
